Skills Empowerment

AFLAG targets and identifies vulnerable unemployed women who face socio-economic challenges in our society and provides them with skills training. We do this because we have identified the high rate of unemployment and poverty in amongst the marginalized women. This predicament has exposed most of these women to all forms of gender-based violence and it is our hope that, alleviating these women economically will not only make them financially secure but would drastically reduce the high level of abuse they face.
